English: PACIFIC OCEAN (March 30, 2007) – An aviation boatswain’s mate describes take off and landing planning and tracking procedures to a group of 5th grade students from Gerald R. Ford Elementary in the flight deck control room aboard USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Sailors from Bonhomme Richard have visited the grade school in the past, and today was the 5th grade students’ turn to see how Sailors and Marines prepare for deployment.
